Abstract
In his public letters during 1907-1911, Archil Jorjadze, Georgian political
figure, had postulated the conceptional system for the restoration of Georgian
statehood. According to analysis of those letters, we come to conclusion that
Jorjadze’s vision consisted from four major principles in his thoughts:
1. At the beginning, independence of Georgian state should have been
realized in the manner of national-territorial autonomy which was reckoned to
be the transitional step for the independence of Georgia.
2. Transfer of the lands to the peasants that was importan step for the
economical development.
3. Westernization of Georgia through the capitalistic development and
making of democratic system.
4. In perspective, realization of social-federalism as Georgian version of
European socialism – so-called “Georgian-socialism”, which could have been
non-alternative concept of social justice.
