Here, in this article, we discuss different opinions about phenomenon of civilization, we are trying to set up the main criteria of civilization that belong to famous scientist (A. Toynbee, N. Danilovski, G. Childs, W. Mason, R. Adams, C. Renfro, C. Flanner, W. Eberhard...). Regarding to those features that belongs to civilization the conclusion is drawn that common “Caucasian Civilization” does not exist at all. South and North Caucasians have never shared common cultural features, socio-economic and political structures, or even the religious unity. South Caucasian nations have almost all signs of civilization, but North Caucasians have not. North Caucasian ethnic groups were connected with nomadic world of Eurasia, while South Caucasians – with the civilizations like Persian, Arabian, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine. Geographical, natural, or climate diversity, roads that connected Eu-rope, Asia, and various conquerors whose invasions and migrations on intention to settle in this region – all served to be contradiction towards the creation of common Caucasian cultural and civilization unity. “Caucasian Civilization” is the artificial term invented by scientists being in-competent in theories of civilization, history and ethnology.geკავკასიაცივილიზაციატოინბიდანილოვსკიგორდონ ჩაილდიArticle
