This story is told in two principle Georgian records: “Conversion of Kartli” (Moktsevai Kartlisai) and “The Life of Kartli (Georgia)” (Kartlis Tskhovreba”). And historians think this story to be derived from Alexander’s Romance by Pseudo-Callisthenes.
