Institutional deficiencies of state statistics related to political, social, economic, demographic and other factors of the country have been identified. The analysis showed that despite significant regressions in various fields, strong fragmentation of the public is still high in South Africa, which is a negative factor for the development of official statistics. The production of objective and high quality statistical data, their publication and proper use is of great importance for an adequate assessment of this situation.geSouth Africa, Multiinequality, System of Statistics, Statistical Data, Quality of InformationReforming state statistics in the republic of South Africa at the end of the 20th centuryArticle
