Abstract:
Nowadays, a lot is said about nostalgia. Regardless of what the past
was like, the transition period is followed by a stage of nostalgic addiction.
The paper aims to see what nostalgia is, whether there is a difference
between nostalgic memories and memory. It is interesting how the Soviet
past is discussed and understood in Georgian post-independence Georgian
fiction texts, where is the line between memory and nostalgic perception
is drawn.
