dc.description.abstract Recently, there have been a significant number methodological works, the authors of which substantiate the heuristic nature and high scientific potential of the case methodology. The article discusses the peculiarities, limitations, advantages and disadvantages of case methodology. As well as means by which you can improve the quality, reliability and validity of the use of case methodology. Based on the analysis of scientific papers, a typology of case methodology is implemented with two main parameters - the number of cases to be considered and the connection with the theory. en_US
