dc.description.abstract The study discusses the development and importance of information and communication technologies and processes of digitalisation or digital transformation in tourism and hospitality. The purpose of this chapter is to explain the difference between the concepts of e-tourism and smart tourism and in the following to show the importance of digitalisation for the further development of destinations and their transition to a smart destination. en_US
