Abstract:
The study of Nikoloz Baratashvili’s poetry has been going on for
more than a century and a half. Much has been written about him
and much will be written in the future. Every time and epoch will
have something to say about the genius poet.
For a long time there was an urgent need to create a work or
works on the history of the poet’s study that considered in depth
and as objectively as possible not only who said what about the new and valuable poet and his literary heritage, but also who said what
was different. The more we distance ourselves from Baratashvili’s
time, naturally, the greater the interest in Nikoloz Baratashvili’s
poetry about eternal values - the universal and the universal. Ilia
Chavchavadze was the first to raise the issue with this aspect and
many people thought about it. In the report, we aim to present some
moments in this regard based on Ilia’s thought.
