Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the problems of cryptocurrency bitcoin exchange rate formation and improvement of its circulation process. It characterizes the factors affecting the price: demand and supply, issue, cost of production, legislative regulation, information background, competition between altcoins in the cryptocurrency market, “burning” of coins and a group of people, so called “Whales”. The specifics of the impact of these factors on the Bitcoin exchange rate and the corresponding problems are described, and suggestions are made on the implementation of which will stabilize the Bitcoin exchange rate and facilitate the recognition of cryptocurrency as a universal means of payment in the country.
