Abstract:
Nowadays in Georgia it is very urgent to study the socio-economic development issues of the country and to set the ways to solve the problem based on the mutual understanding of synergistic, or in other words theological and secular positions.
The aim of the work is to promote the study of such issues in Georgia, as well as relevant sources and develop appropriate conclusions and recommendations for elaboration of a synergistic concept of socio-economic development of the country.
Pursuant to the purpose, the fundamental documents for synergistic development sphere are reviewed in this article: constitutional agreement (concordat) between the State of Georgia and Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Georgia; The Canon Law; Charter of Petritsoni Monastery by Grigol Bakurianisdze; Management Regulation of Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Georgia.
The relationship between the state of Georgian and the apostolic autocephalous Orthodox Church of Georgia is determined by constitutional agreement (concordat),
In terms of synergistic, theoretical-methodological and social point of view, the most important article in this agreement is 1.1, and pursuant to the above mentioned article “the state and the Church confirm their readiness to cooperate with the principle of mutual independence, for the benefit of the country’s population.”
The content of the Concordat confirms the necessity and possibility of synergistic understanding of the public life, and represents the most important theoretical-methodological cornerstone for the development of the country.
It creates the best precondition for the development of a synergistic, truly national concept of socio-economic development of Georgia,
Among the ecclesiastical law sources, the distinguished place is given to the Canon Law, which is determined as a mandatory code for the World Orthodox Church.
The Canon Law discusses and regulates social, political, economic, agricultural, managerial, cultural, ecological, moral and other spheres of social life among other spiritual moments, that are very important and urgent in both secular and ecclesiastical points of view.
The Canon Law and economic-governing doctrine reflected in it, represent the historical basis and pattern of harmonious, synergistic mutual agreement of the aspirations of the church and the secular authorities as well,
“Petritsoni Charter” by Grigol Bakurianisdze belongs to the XI century’s magnificent legal, economic-managing and agricultural production organization legal code.
This statute and the same statutes established on the basis of it have been used and are still being used by Christian monasteries in their activities, both in Georgia and abroad.
The Charter of Petritsoni Monastery represents an exemplary ecclesiastical economic-management legal act, that can serve as the basis for not only ecclesiastical – monastery, but also secular economic-managing synergic activity.
The Management Regulation of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Georgia is based on the activities of the Georgian Church. In addition, due to the divine origin and purpose, its basic provisions and principles can be successfully used in the secular social and economic-management synergistic activities.
In the article, the author’s main opinions are formed in terms of synergistic conclusions, paradigms and recommendations:
● The main paradigm of Christian-synergistic socio-economic and managerial activity is: “ to gain valuables (including money, property, wealth) in the truth (in the dignity of the divine) and use it in kindness way will provide a universal, synergistic, genuine, harmonious well-being of the whole community and paves the way to the kingdom of heaven; “
●The socio-economic and governance wisdom, paradigms and principles in the documents studied in this article as well as in the whole Christian doctrine should be used to create a relevant synergistic concept;
● For the purpose of the divine, synergistic socio-economic development of Georgia, the State, Church, Scientists and stakeholders of the society should jointly develop a qualitative- principal new, synergistic concept of the socio-economic development and well-being of the country, based on which the appropriate model, strategy, program will be created and the relevant effective projects will be implemented.
