Abstract

The essence of the risk, the type of the risk and the ways of researching the nature of the risk (objective, subjective, and mixed) are under main attention. The summary of „risk” category is explained in the context of its functions – analytical, innovative, regulatory, protective. History of the creation and development of the risk is reviewed. Several definitions of „risk” and the similarities and differences between them is provided. Also provided are several classifications of Risk and relevant graphs are given for better visualization, some of which are created by the author using different sources. Second sub-chapter – „the effect of the risks on entrepreneurial” – discusses the importance of entrepreneurial and the hard road the entrepreneurial workers need to follow. Also discussed are the origins of entrepreneurial risks, its sorts and its effects of entrepreneurial itself. Third sub-chapter consists of the basic methodological issues of risk management, the algorithms to assess the risks, the methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis of the risks.
