Abstract:
On the basis of important, various and interesting literature, the author tries to answer to the
issues: what political results were brought about the U.S. diplomacy in 1997-2000. The goals of
my thesis are to show the U.S.’s diplomatic assistance after the USSR fall and point outs
American interests in Georgia during Bill Clinton’s presidency. I will try to show the answer to
the issues: what political results were brought about the U.S. diplomacy in 1997-2000. The aim
of the work is to promote, answer, and value the United States military policy toward Georgia
after the USSR collapse and show the peculiarities that made American-Georgian partnership
strategic in the south Caucasus. My aim is to analyze the new American military and political
policy toward South Caucuses region and Georgia. The main result of the thesis as wells as the
actuality is expressed in its innovation as it the one of the first attempt to research relationship
between the U.S. and Georgia in XX century.
