Abstract:
The report deals with chronological discussion of the official visits of the Prime Ministers
of Georgia to the United States of America. The opinion of the American government after the
meetings and their attitude towards the Georgian-American cooperation are also given.
From 2017 to February 2020, Georgia became the epicenter of many political events.
Leader of “Georgian Dream” Bidzina Ivanishvili nominated the third Prime minister, but this
has changed almost nothing for ordinary Georgian citizens. As for Georgia-US relations, despite
severe criticism and Congressmen’s letters, the US government continues to help its partner and
hopes that Georgia will become a truly strong and independent country that will successfully
complete its path to the North Atlantic Alliance. If we take into account the recent foreign and
domestic political processes, we will see that the price of the Georgian-American political
partnership is higher.
