Abstract:
1620, - in the year when the Pilgrims- protestant migrants from Great Britain designed and
signed aboard ship “Mayflower Compact” a mode of future constitution of United States, - may be
considered as the end of middle ages of world history and starting point of so called New Times.
The main signs of which are: reformation, great French revolution and Enlightenment.
The article essential finds links between the significant event in the culture of States and
European early enlightenment. It proves that Saint Anthim the Iberian a great humanist of
Georgia and Wallachia, an organizer of "for posts" of so called "New Times" from the midst of
XVII to the midst of XVIII century in the Balkans is "proto European". He spread among people
of post-Byzantine space ideas of enlightenment, freedom and relevant institutions.
