dc.description.abstract- This article attempts to reveal the motivations of Europeans in Georgia in the second half of 19th century; the role and contribution of European Intelligentsia in developing and evolving of Georgian culture, history, politics, literature and other fields. They often referred to Georgia as their second motherland. Some of them even found their eternal resting place in this country. В данной работе предпринята попытка выяснить мотивацию деятельности европейцев в Грузии во второй половине XIX века; роль и вклад европейской интеллигенции в развитие грузинской культуры, истории, политики, литературы и других сфер.
