Abstract
For several decades, highly refined cardiac implantable elec-tronic devices (CIED) are used to prevent and manage various types of cardiac pathology, which have saved the lives of many patients. Cardiac implantable electronic devices help maintain and improve the quality of life by regulating the heart rate, ter-minating life-threatening arrhythmias, and improving systolic function, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defi-brillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices.
