| dc.description.abstract | The paper deals with the development of innovations and application of its mechanisms in tourism and hotel management, which is one of the pressing issues of scientific study of contemporary business. The author suggests the classification of the system of innovations in hotel management and provides analysis of relationship between the concepts of innovations and characteristics of hotel business. Based on the study of successful innovations, the paper identifies some innovations, which allow the hotels of different size, including small and medium guesthouses, to become competitive even with relatively modest resources. From this perspective, the author sees the relevance of applying such marketing and product innovations in hotel management like lean production, which is based on loyalty and satisfaction of consumers and is already tested and successful innovative concept in other sectors. | |
