| dc.description.abstract | The present paper considers the role and place of tourism in the economy of the country, studies the tasks and goals of the state approach to tourism, analyzes current situation and development perspectives in tourism industry, as well as the role and place of Georgia on the global tourism market. It is noted, that tourism is one of the priority and key sectors for the development of Georgia’s economy that contributes to improving the country’s awareness and its integration into the global economy. It ensures creation of jobs, increasing income, overcoming poverty, improving welfare of people and sustainable economic development. | en_US |
