Abstract
Insurance plays an important role in stabilizing the economy. It is necessary to develop the insurance market in Georgia, because insurance can prevent financial losses. Pandemic challenges are relevant to the insurance sector. It is therefore important to properly assess the state of the insurance industry.
The article focuses on the importance of risk management during a pandemic. The dynamics of insurance premiums, losses, profits and assets are discussed. Conclusions and recommendations have been made as a result of the analysis of key indicators of the insurance market.
