dc.description.abstractThe function of Georgia as a connecting means between East and West is important for modern conditions and its development, in terms of transit, is still relevant to the country's strategic development plan. Consideration of the country's favorable geographical location, in terms of international transit, allows us to conclude that this factor could become a real means for improving socio-economic condition of the country. The article discusses some aspects of Georgia's geoeconomic potential – function of transit, its importance, realities, problems and expected "benefits" in this regard.en_US
