In the middle of the 19th century, a lexical unit “rusetume” (“Russifi ed Georgians” ) appeared in Georgian. This term referred to young people who had studied in Russia did not care about the welfare of their country, and had a nihilistic attitude to everything national. After some time, this term in Georgian came into opposition with “Tergdaleulebi”. Unlike young people who were called “rusetume” (“Russifi ed Georgians”), “Tergdaleulebi” used the education that they got in Russia in favour of the national ideas. There are two differing comments in the scientific literature regarding the subject of the segmentation of the word form rusetume (“Russifi ed Georgian”). In this report, we will discuss both of them and present the arguments in favour of one of them.en_US
