Abstract
One of the most important factors affecting the economic and social development of the country is the demographic factor. Demographic processes have a significant impact on a number of economic events such as a reduction in tax revenues that directly impacts the state budget; The increase in pensions and healthcare costs, which leads to an increase in the number of older population, etc. As we know, demographic processes include births, deaths, marriages, divorces, migration. This article will specifically discuss the birth rate in Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti region.
