dc.description.abstractIn the first half of the 19th century, Caucasians fought against the Russian Empire for keeping the independence. In the North Caucasus, the Russian Empire was consolidating its dominance with fire and sword, in the subjugated Transcaucasia it was decided to carry out a number of reforms in order to achieve the final integration of the Transcaucasia into the Empire. The goal of the supreme power was to turn this metropolis of the empire into a party that would be politically credible and economically as profitable as possible. Implementation of this program, Tsarism attempted through the various ways, the most important of which were the colonization and Russification of the country. Military settlements were established mainly throughout the Caucasus to strengthen the Russian colony. In order to provide the Georgian military road, the military population was accommodated on it. During some period, from the small towns the whole villages were formed, which were called Sinor, such as Manglisi, Белый Ключ, (White Spring), Царские Колодцы (Dedoplistskaro), Gombori, Lagodekhi and etc. The present topic discusses and introduces works of authors unknown to Georgian historiography into the scientific movement.en_US
