dc.description.abstractThe lengthy process of transformation of the Georgian economy has fundamentally changed forms and conditions of business management, property ownership, market regulations, competition and economic activity, as well as distribution and redistribution of public wealth. This created new priorities in problem solving in the system of economic relations. The author believes that in Georgia, inclusiveness should become a major paradigm of the economic development. This means active engagement of citizens in economic development and fair distribution of generated wealth with the purpose to reduce the financial, economic, and social risks. The author deems , that during pandemic and post-pandemic times the Georgian innovative entrepreneurs don’t avoid challenges and don’t lose professional interest towards the development of their businesses. In his opinion, it is necessary for the government to increase the scale of business startup financing programmes, improve their targeting and provide more support to innovative ideas as well as promote these. The article reviews some actual aspects of the regulation of financial markets, support to small and medium scale businesses, increase in employment and decrease in unemployment – the factors that are critically important for the economic development of Georgia , neutralization of pandemic causes and continuing the process of building civil society in the country.en_US
