Abstract

Three gems with the effigy of Aphrodite were found in Urbnisi (Eastern Georgia). Their chronological frames are as follows: end of the 1st c. B.C.-3rd c. A.D. The research comes to conclusion that three pieces are not enough for stating of popularity of this deity in Eastern Georgia; still the good relations with Rome are well traced.
