Abstract
Article deals with campaign of Bagrat III, king of united Georgia against
amir of Ganja Fadl ibn Muhammad. Aims of coalition (composed by Bagrat III
and Gagik I, king of Ani) for this campaign is discussed. Area of military
operation and the details of siege of Shamkori castle is researched. Special
attention is payed to the peace agreement between Fadl ibn Muhammad and
king Bagrat III of Georgia.
