Abstract:
After the defeat of revolution, the Socialist-Federalist party still remained as a leader of national-poliitical movement. Some newspapers were published on behalf of the party: “Isari”, “Megobari”, “Amirani”, “Droeba”. Federalists actively participated in the activities of cultural society. They struggled to defend national rights of people. At the same time, the Socialist-Federalist party led illegal activities. It tried to prevent Georgia from settlement of foreign population from Russian provinces.The party published illegal editions and opposed the policy of government with radical methods. In 1910 Russian government tried to suppress the activity of Federalist party with repressions, mass arrests and banishment. The reprezentation of mentioned events in our work are based on archival documents and periodical press materials.
