Abstract
The development and competitiveness of companies and, as a consequence, national economies, are under the constant impact of the shifts occurring in the world economy, political processes, environmental and climate dynamics, substitution and domination of scientific and technological paradigms. The technological factor forms a new course for the development of entire industries and sciences, which transform key factors of competitiveness, bringing to the forefront the development and active implementation of innovations, the main place among which is allocated to radical innovations. One of the properties combining these technologies is their high knowledge intensity, which arises as a result of the highly intellectual work of researchers and scientists. The objects of intellectual property (IP) created an overwhelming share of the added value of new products and the capitalization of companies. Dynamics of indicators in the field of intellectual property is an indicator of technological global changes, identifying
technologies and industries in which proactive patenting processes are taking place, thus indicating the most dynamic and fast-growing technological trends. In the context of the accelerating development of new high-tech industries and their increasing influence on the configuration and features of successful market business models, the effective
creation and management of its intellectual property is an important condition for the development of any company.
