Abstract
Human capital is one of the fundamental factor for sustainable and inclusive growth. In this paper highlighted that without human capital it is impossible to achieve sustainable economic growth, as well as the formation of qualified workers controllers and maintain competitiveness on the world economic arena. Therefore measurement of human capital is undisputed.
This study aims at providing a theoretical concept of human capital and its measurement that have been continually developed and empirically testing for decades. The paper discusses about human capital measuring methodologies. There are three general approaches to human capital measurement; The article deals with the essence of the human capital index as the new measure of human capital. Human capital index is developed by the World Bank and focuses on the productivity of next generation.
