dc.description.abstractProblem loans, that is, overdue loans, are one of the most pressing problems against the backdrop of unstable economic development in the country. This issue goes beyond the problem of commercial banks and their clients, becomes large-scale and represents a public-state challenge. The article examines the causes and problems of managing problem loans in the banking sector of Georgia, it also examines internal and external factors affecting the solvency of clients, and also focuses on the prospects and possibilities for collecting overdue loans in the current situation in order to reduce the number of similar loans as much as possible in general bank's loan portfolio.
