| dc.description.abstract | The subject of our article is Jalal ad-Din Khwarazm Shah’s incursion in Georgia. Political background and hostility between those Great Powers are narrated by Georgian and foreign sources. Research is based on those materials. Detailed description is presented about composition and figure of troops deployed for this battle. Brief account of field battle that took place in 1225 at Garnisi is given here and the reason of Georgians’ failure is also explored. | en_US |
