Agri-food trade: challenges and opportunities under the COVID-19 pandemic (აგროსასურსათო პროდუქტებით ვაჭრობა: გამოწვევები და შესაძლებლობები COVID -19 პანდემიის პირობებში)

Abstract
The paper analyzes the views of scientists on the difficulties caused by the pandemic in the field of trade in agri-food products. Comparative analysis of typical and atypical crises reveals optimistic and pessimistic scenarios for the development of trade in products. In the research process, through comparative analysis, the indicators of trade in agro-food products of Georgia in the pre-pandemic (2018-2019) and post-pandemic (2020-2021) periods are analyzed. Based on the analysis, conclusions have been drawn and recommendations have been developed on food trade problems taking into consideration the COVID-19 crisis
