Abstract
The article introduces a method for estimating a standard linear equation that, in the context of time series analysis, allows for determining the static impact of independent variables on a dependent variable. This method involves decomposing the value of the level of each moment in the time series into fixed (inert) and dynamic components, which are then used to estimate the linear regression equation. The practical application of this method is illustrated with a model examining the relationship between the consumer price index and the unemployment rate in the Georgian economy.
